OriginTrace

Bringing visibility to African agricultural trade.

OriginTrace helps exporters and buyers document supply chains, organize traceability and compliance evidence, and work together with greater visibility — from origin through shipment. We combine a digital platform with practical support at origin in Africa.

Why we exist

Produce clears the field. It is the proof that gets disconnected.

As a commodity moves from farm to shipment, information about who grew it, where it was handled, and what it was checked against often moves through different people, organizations, notebooks, and files.

Exporters need records they can use — farm identity, collection detail, processing and storage history, gathered as the work happens rather than reconstructed for a filing deadline.

Buyers need evidence they can assess — the same record, carried through to shipment, made visible to the account on the other side of the relationship.

A usable record should develop alongside the commodity, at every handover.

Our mission

Make the origin and journey of African agricultural commodities easier to document, understand, and trust.

Our vision

African agricultural trade in which reliable origin information travels with the commodity, exporters can demonstrate the work behind their supply, and buyers can build relationships with better visibility.

Our approach

The platform, the people, and the connections.

Technology works when it reflects how supply chains operate on the ground. OriginTrace brings together the record, the field work, and the commercial relationship around the same flow of information.

01

The platform

A connected record for farm registration, collection, processing, compliance scoring, and shipment evidence — built as your team works, rather than assembled after the fact.

02

Support at origin

Field teams support onboarding, farm mapping, and data collection where a supply base actually is — including where connectivity is limited.

03

Supply-network support

Support for existing sourcing relationships and assisted introductions between new buyers and exporters already using OriginTrace.
